Keep abusing the n00bs, they enjoy it! :D

I was once a noob, and I don't think I would still be posting here at AC if DroidXcon had abused me. I sometimes get too gruff in my responses, but I try to also remember what it was like when I was a noob. I hope most people can take some good-natured ribbing, as you will probably get plenty of that from everyone here.

what's stockholm syndrome???

Stockholm syndrome usually refers to the odd effect where hostages actually begin to bond with, relate to, sympathize with, and like their captors.

Only took me two seconds to wiki it:

Stockholm syndrome - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

But I already knew what it was. Just providing the link to help you out. If there's anything else I can look up for you just let me know.

The light hearted insults here are nothing compared to the dungeons such as most car specific forums. The members here appears to be genuinely good and mature people.

What constitutes a noob? I am here since I got my first Android phone - The T-Mobile G1 over 2 years ago. Yet I posted less than 50 posts so far... Am I a noob or an old timer?

From the Android Central Meta:

It's based on post count:

Android Nanite 0
Android Newbie 10
Android Beginner 25
Android Intermediate 75
Android Pro 150
Android Expert 250
Android Specialist 500
Android Guru 750
Android Genius 1000
Android Professor 1500
Android Elite 2500
Android Deity 4000

So it basically has to do with post count, but that can be misleading in some cases.

Golly. I'm almost an expert. Or so they say...

Just wait till 2.9.2.0000001 comes out. I'll be back with plenty more questions.
