[ODIN][Released by p3droid] Leaked Gingerbread EC09 Full Stock package
- I attached screen shoots of what I am on now. I have noticed that battery life on this version is not as what I hoped. Is there a better version that I should be on. I looked at the Comm Roms but it looks like the same that I am on now. I also do not want to wipe again if I don't need to. Any suggestions would be great. I used ODIN for the the flash.06-27-2011 09:57 AMLike 0

CR20_EC01_NUTSx_SHARK.tar
Is the EC09 radio part of the rom? Or do I need to do something else. I am assuming to just just ODIN for the rom. How do I do the EC09, Again.... Still new to rooting.
Also, will all my apps stay on? or will I need to redo them. Was thinking of getting Backup Pro, but not if I have to.
Okay so I found the EC09 file here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1132236
But to make sure I understand exactly what to do.
First: Install the CR20_EC01_NUTSx_SHARK.tar using the instructions from here: http://forum.androidcentral.com/veri...6-12-11-a.html
Second: Install EC09 through ODIN Also?06-27-2011 10:17 AMLike 0 - Okay, sorry for all the questions.... So I am downloading the This version contains the EC01 radio/modem and imnuts' 05/31 PBJ -50mv nonvoodoo kernel

It looks like everything is working fine. It in fact did NOT wipe my data, or the existing apps. The only app that i see is not working is the clock. Which is weird. Also notice that doing the screen capture procedures by hitting the back button and then the power does not take the screen shot. Which is not a big deal for me as it was a more annoying than anything else. So the About Phone show that the Firmware Version is now UKB 2.0. Is this correct now, I assume that I am still on Froyo. Baseband Version: s:i500.04 V.EC09, Kernal: 2.6.32.9 and Build os SCH-I500.ED01. Does all this look correct now?
One other thing - What is TSM Market? Is it still the market?06-27-2011 12:46 PMLike 0 - 06-27-2011 01:01 PMLike 0

EB01 -> Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!
Atlas 2.2 -> MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
EC09 Modem - > MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
When you ODIN the EB01 file, place that in the PDA section, place the atlas file in the PIT section, look to the left of the start button under the heading option and put a check mark in re-partition.mm247 likes this.06-27-2011 02:40 PMLike 1 - I Odined the EB01 when I went back to ComRom but didn't install the 2.2 pit file. What have I missed by not doing that?06-27-2011 03:19 PMLike 0
- Thanks for the help Shark, I got it working and loaded the EC09 modem, so far so good. Although I went to recovery from the shut down menu and got red lettering that was extremely small and hard to read with larger yellow text that was incomplete on the right side that seemed to try to imply FAIL and also what looked like the green Android figure in the back ground, weird. I rebooted again and got back to blue recovery and then to red recovery and didn't see those images again. I looked at my SD Card through file manager and can still see some strange symbols next to files the won't open but my apps are still there and seem to work, although I lost some pictures. Thanks again for the help, it got a little scary there for a while.06-27-2011 03:33 PMLike 0
- I had a strange incident like that after a FC-reboot (these seem to happen about every 2 days.) I opened My Files to see if my SD card was toast, and there were like 1000 files with crazy character names. I went to Storage control, unmounted, remounted, then went back in to My Files and all the crazy character files were gone and things were back to normal.06-27-2011 04:01 PMLike 0
- I threw in an old 2GB SD card and reinstalled the GB leak. (I flashed it without the SD card installed and when I put the card in I immediately formatted it.)
I am off tomorrow so I am going to play around a bit and see how it does.
I have not rooted it and have downloaded a few of my everyday use apps.06-27-2011 11:51 PMLike 0 - The pit file realigns your partitions. Think of your phone as a pair of cargo pants with multiple pockets. The linings or dividers between those pockets are the partitions. Sometimes after a lot of flashing the partitions get skewed and files or parts of files don't end up in the right place. Using the pit file when doing a clean wipe with a stock build like DL09 or EB01 realigns the partitions to where they need to be so everything ends up where it should be and you usually end up with fewer FC's and wonky files.sfobrien and putney1477 like this.06-28-2011 01:26 AMLike 2

- Can the 2.2 pit file be used any time you ODIN files. For example would it be beneficial to use the 2.2 pit file when you load the 2.0 COM ROM ODIN files from landshark. The reason I’m asking is because I have some force closures that happen and I’m still on superclean 2.9.2 ODIN package from droidX and I wanted to upgrade to COM ROM 2.0. Would this help stop the force closures?06-28-2011 05:29 AMLike 0
