Keep losing cell signal! Help!

I got this phone and it was fine until 2 hours ago. I got this to hold me over till the note 2 arrives!
Anyway the thing keeps losing signal and finding it and losing it again! It's a perpetual loop! I've tried ap toggle, reboot, battery pull, removing my SD card, I can't do a factory reset (I JUST got it setup with all my apps! And it took HOURS!) this is horrible! Why am I switching over from virgin Mobile? Oh because better phones and signal... HAHAHAHA. NEVER have had this issue with any of my other devices. I JUST activated this device today! Please somebody! I tried looking for system updates but it won't have it because it needs to do it via Verizon 3-3g,but it can't do it if it's always dropping signal!

March into the store and demand a replacement. If yiu didn't do anything to damage your cell you should be able to get a replacement
