I thought it was a pretty honest review. Can't say the same for a lot of the flaming reviews this phone has gotten.

The speakerphone function on the phone, however, barely seems to work. Outbound audio on speakerphone calls is no louder than when the speakerphone is off.

I'm on conference calls for almost 4-hours a day, and use speakerphone exclusively. I hope this isn't true, or I'll have to send it back.

I don't quite understand that statement. Is he saying the other party can barely hear them?

I just had a nice chat w/ 611 and she heard me very well. There were no breaks in a 10 minute conversation. We both clearly heard and understood what the other had to say. And that's more than I can say for the DROID 2. Oh, and it was facing down.

Yeah I did a few calls since I read that and no problems here either.

I tried it several times and think its pretty good. Very loud and clear. Definitely louder than on my X.
