*UPDATE* Just found the drivers in the Rooting section...guess I should probably check the site a little better before posting.

I'm a noob too but I found that to turn on MSD you have to open up the notification area at the top of the screen and enable disk access there after you plug in the USB cable. A USB symbol will appear up there when the cable is connected. There are also some settings to check under the main Settings menu.
