Interacting with discussion boards

On my schools online discussion boards, I did a browser check and it doesn't support android, only common desktop systems and IE. Are there any browser apps that can mimick a desktop setup, or forum apps that might be a work around? Or do I expect too much from a handheld doo-dad? I just hate being tethered to a desk, my time is much better spent trying to find a good zombie game.

Go to your browser's settings and select desktop mode

If the board is a forum, you could see if it is supported by tapatalk.

That didn't work. Tried the dolphin browser with desktop mode too. Crap.
