VZW text about marginal coverage

Got a text today from Verizon stating I am in a marginal coverage area and there would be no early termination if I cancelled my service. Called them and they advised it was sent due to my 3G dropping last week and they couldn't repair it. I took the time to advise them I had resolved the issue myself (after whatever they did failed) by doing the ESN swap.

Anybody else got one of these texts?

VZW sends out texts like that? Wow, if that happens to me, I'll probably drop my service with them without hesitation. I mean, this is a great phone. But service coverage sucks. Terribly.
