Google Voice - want Verizon voice mail

I recently installed the Community Rom v1.3. I couldn't be happier - only regret was that I waited so long. Only thing that I'm having a problem with is getting to voice mail. On the phone app - left side button to get to voicemail not goes to Google voice. How would I just have it point to plain old vanilla Verizon Voice mail? When I go into settings -> call settings -> voicemail service ->"my carrier" is checked. Under the Voicemail (settings for my carrier) it's pointed to *86 which works. Anyone have a clue what I'm doing wrong?

Google Voice is baked into the apk, but you can install Verizon VVM and use that independently of the phone app. Perhaps if there is enough requests, the devs will make a patch for this
