SetCPU needs a custom kernel that supports OCing and I'm not sure but I don't think any do right now. Maybe Matr1x in the latest version (1.5) but franco doesn't yet.

It's still early in the kernel development for the LTE version so it'll take time.

when it does work it won't be as simple as just installing SetCPU, you'll need to also flash a kernel that supports it.

Apex kernal has been released, in 3 varieties: "stock" 1.2 ghz, oc'd 1.35 and oc'd 1.4

I'm on 1.35 right now, very stable so far I have had no problems whatsoever .And yes you use SetCPU to tweak it. Also has slight undervolting built in, and the ability to tweak that in SetCPU as well, to help save on battery life. Read this whole thread, a lot of questions will be answered already: [KERNEL][GSM/LTE][IML74K] "Apex" Kernel (UV/OC/GPU) (12/19/11) - RootzWiki

Enjoy!

EDIT: Should have mentioned that.. sorry.. yes that kernel needs you to be on 4.0.3. DO NOT try to flash it if your on 4.0.2.

Where did you get the 4.0.3?

also touch my wookie v0.3 supports OC'ing and thats what I'm on now. I just installed it so I'll report back on how I like it/battery life.

ps. its only a 1.35 oc.

Here's a link: [Kernel]Touch My Wookie (teambamf) credit goes to him, I'm just sharing.

This kernel is stable for 4.0.2 and some slight bugs for 4.0.3
