no issues 2def?

None whatsoever.. absolutely in love with this ROM. Using JD's 1.4 kernel right now. Might try franco's 11 later but I'm very comfy now. Batt life seems maybe a TINY bit less than axi0m... but I just flashed this last night and haven't calibrated.. it definitely takes a cycle or 2 to let the rom settle and calibrate my batt. Really this ROM rocks :)

EDIT: Yeah like mclarry said, some of the verizon apps apparently aren't working yet, devs said they're aware and it'll be addresed in next update... makes no diff to me, I don't use them.

REALLY STUPID QUESTION.
What folder do you put the rom file in?
Just your root directory of the device when connected to the pc?
(it's been a long time since I flashed a rom)

Yes just put the file on the root of your sdcard :)

Or you can just download it from your phone and it'll just be saved in your "download" folder that's in your Sdcard

Yes the virtual sd card, sorry about that I'm to use to having a removable card :p

Remember to do a nandroid backup and back up all your apps & app data, then wipe cache and data. Then flash away :)

re: [ROM][AOSP][4.0.3] Codename Android 1.1.1 [Full Open Source]

I flashed and the ROM seems great. I did the battery reset in CWM as well. I've noticed my battery is charging extremely slow. Is this the ROM or an effect of resetting the battery?

My Facebook contacts are synchronized but, the contact pictures are not showing. Setting or ROM?

Caution, don't flash a theme not made for this ROM.. I'm not sure if everybody else knew about this but, I temp. Bricked my phone. If I'm wrong please educate me.

I'm a complete n00b when it comes to flashing ROMs. What exactly do I need to do after unlocking and rooting? What's this about a kernel, etc? Is the 4.0.3 kernel included?

Follow the information provided in the sticky for installing. You can download the kernel from the same page you DL the ROM. Apply the Kernel the same way you do the ROM.

I'm no longer worried about Axiom 2.4 being gone. This is a solid replacement. It's very fast, smooth, stable (so far) and is loaded with setting options.

I'm just running the kernel that the ROM uses. I don't see any need to try another one, but if someone that has run the default kernel, then tried another one says that something else is faster/better, I'd be happy to try one out.

re: [ROM][AOSP][4.0.3] Codename Android 1.1.1 [Full Open Source]

Just flashed this last night and I have to say it's incredibly fast, smooth, and the battery life seems to be good so far. I'm currently running the stock kernel included with the ROM, but like the comment above, I see no need to swap out for a different one right now.

Only problems I've experienced are a bit of stutter when opening the app drawer (although strangely enough, I've experienced this with other ROMs and on stock) and Facebook sync not syncing correctly (it's syncing all friends to contacts instead of just existing contacts. Could be due to me running an older version of the app, though).
