Help! Rooted Galaxy Nexus running 4.04 will not boot to recovery

Hello Everyone im having issues with my CDMA Galaxy Nexus. I unlocked the phone and rooted it the other night, installing clockwork mod and everything without a hitch. I then used CWM Recovery to flash the 4.04 update which also worked fine. I have realized however that it seems i lost root in the process, and i can no longer boot into recovery from CWM or manually by holding down the volume keys and the power button and choosing the recovery button. All i get is the dead android with the red triangle and exclamation point! So ive searched the forums and see there is a fix to get root back, which i think seems to be what has happened to me. I am using a mac though, and all the directions for loading the file are either for windows or through CWM. This is the first phone i have rooted, so im really lost! I have found these instructions on droid-life http://www.droid-life.com/2012/02/06/how-to-root-android-4-0-4-on-the-galaxy-nexus/ however it seems to be windows instructions. Also most of the instructions are telling me to install clockwordmod recovery, but that doesnt make sense to me since i already have it on my phone. Thanks in advance you guys are great!

It sounds like you only lost clockworkmod recovery and are still rooted... its an easy fix.

EDIT... Actually flashing the 4.0.4 update might have unrooted the phone... Do you have access to any apps that require superuser permissions? If not.. you need to root again... the bootloader should still be unlocked so don't worry about that.. you just need to root and get superuser back. Thanks! I did lose the root, just downloaded the two files provided at the droid-life link i posted and eventually figured out the necessary mac commands i needed to reboot and re-flash the clockwork recovery image. It worked, and i was able to install the updated su.zip file and make sure i got the permanent clock work recovery.
