Maps unfreezes itself in Titanium

I freeze Google Maps using Titanium Backup because I suspect Maps app does things I don't want - such as running itself in the middle of the night.

But every time I freeze it, it unfreezes itself hours or days later. Does anyone know why this happens?

No, but you don't need to freeze it either. One of the recent updates to Maps caused it to launch itself sometimes but it's effect on your system and battery are nil. Just ignore it.
