Just tried flashing AOKP build 38 and something went wrong. Went to my backup and at least I can use my phone now....

Whelp I was going to dirty flash b38 to save time on setting up my stuff again, but you have just convinced me to do it clean, thanks!

I think we have all been there one time or another... I make a new backup every few days because I change my theme's and other stuff, you can never make to many backups :)

I always do a clean install....it gives me peace of mind, and it only takes me 30 minutes from start to finish.

Yeah, I do too but i was feeling lazy and didnt want to spend the 45 or so minutes it takes me. But then I read the OP here and said "do I really wanna risk a 45 minute job turning into a 1 1/2 hour job because I wanted to do a quick 15 min dirty flash?"

so naturally I flashed it clean.

Lmao that's why most devs tell you to make a nandroid. What problem did you have?

Stuck in boot loop for like 45 minutes. Not sure what happened. Proud to say now that I successfully flashed build 38 this morning
