He needs to correct his statement:

Snapdragon is a battery hog in devices with HTC Sense. HTC is the most prolific user of Snapdragon chipsets, so that's why people have come to think that Snapdragon=bad battery life.
What device that doesn't have sense can you base this off of then? If you say that then you might as well say it is an htc problem since they all have battery issues no matter sense or not. You can root and the battery is still pretty awful on htc phones.

HTC phones suck batteries like a fat girl on prom night. Mine has to have the 2750 mah bat to make it through an entire day. I know someone with the HTC phone for ATT and its the same way.

LTE is just a monster. From what I read, the LG revolution has a **** poor battery life too. That is not firsthand knowledge though. I've read mixed opinions on the charge.

All of the Windows phones are light on battery. So are LG's non-LTE models.

well you can't compare android to windows since windows runs with less power needed than android and less hiccups. And the high end lg's if you look at the forums of any site they don't have that good of battery life.

That's what I'm saying though. It isn't the processor, its the software. Android+Sense=better pack a car battery to power that thing.

I think Samsung's priority lies with AT&T and VZW because of the iPhone and its release. I am guessing no later than 9/15 for VZW.

Well tmo did get their sgs1 variant first last year so idk about at&t/verizon being samsung's priority. You would think it would be but seems like tmo gets most new phones before the other carriers.

OSM is reporting a possible 4.5 incher on the Celox with a 1.5 GHz chip. Mercy! I was all wound up in the Bionic but now relieved it did not release for I may have bitten too soon.
    Loving the waiting game now.

OSM is about as reliable as asking a random person off the street.
