Thank you. Glad I'm not alone in the thought we call logic.

i thought it was already established that it would be called the "Samsing Droid Galaxy EVO S LTE Bionic Touch Slider Pro" (or something like that)

They are not going to listen. Someone is going to say it again before the night is over.

Anybody else find it funny that people are calling phone specs for Verizon's model underwhelming, and yet get very excited over specs for a phone that wouldn't be out for another 3-4 months. If folks haven't figured it out by now, you should realize that we are in the era of PC-style silicone refresh cycles. In other words, by the time you're done salivating over something that is going to be released 4 months from now, something else will leak that is due to be out in another 4 months that will blow the other one away.

    Hrm....very interesting.

Any guesses on what the GT-I9250 might actually be?

A Nexus without the Nexus name?

A better version of the Nexus with an Exynos 1.5ghz cpu?

What could it be other than another version of our beloved Verizon Prime?

Simple, it is the GSM version

A Verizon version with LTE/CDMA hasn't passed through FCC yet, has it?

I keep saying this, but for some reSon people want to believe they are two very different devices.

There's one Nexus Prime (or whatever they decide to name it). One is a GSM flavor with the model number GT -i9250. The other is the CDMA vflavor with the model number SCH -i515. To also point out people's quick assumption of no Verizon exclusive, the exclusivity is for the USA market.

Isn't it known already GOOGLE chose the OMAP platform for development of ICS? why would they all of a sudden decide to make 2 different platforms for development devices?

Honestly what are the chances they are simply the same exact identical phones one CDMA w/LTE for Verizon and the other just a model without LTE for everyone else? Maybe the insider with the other specs is a little off and it will be the OMAP at 1.5Ghz. Why all the disappointment in the OMAP all of a sudden?

Maybe there are different builds of the phone floating around until they decide on final design specs like camera, battery size, memory, and processor speed. I think in the end there will be a 1 and only Nexus with 2 models, same specs, one for Verizon and one for everyone else. Maybe that gsmArena guy saw the GSIII and not the Nexus. We will hopefully find out soon enough, either way this just replaced the Vigor in the top running for being my next device.

Interesting thing I saw on FCC about GT-i9250 is that the label is shown on a 1000 mA battery. Hopefully this is just a place holder and isn't the true size?

What do you guys think of the rumor saying there will be a Nexus version on Verizon with TouchWiz? I may puke if that's what happens.

Mother of God not again! If you stopped and took just a minute to think you would not make that statement. By the very definition of Nexus it cannot, and will not have manufacturer skins......
