When the stats says 16GB/32GB, does that mean there will be two different Galaxy Nexuses offered? Kinda like there are various iPhones with different amounts of storage space? If so, how much more do you guys think the 32GB will be over the 16GB?

Or did they mean the phone comes with 16GB, and you have the option of installing an additional 16GB?

Thanks.

Supposedly the gsm will be 16gb and the verizon version will be 32gb. I was hoping verizon would also offer a 16 gb to save some money but I will be fine with 32gb.

I certainly hope that $299 nets me 32 GB, esp since there's no SD card. The iPhone 4S is 32 GB at $299, so I imagine the Nexus would be about the same.

32GB is way more than I need since I never put movies or music on my phone. In my case, it would have been nice to have the cheaper option as well even though I already planned on dropping the full retail price if need be.

I am paying full retail also and that is why I was hoping they would get both the 16 and 32 gig so I could save a little money. I don't put movies and that on my phone so 16 would be plenty but I have enough saved for the 32 full retail so that is fine also.

wow, I can't believe there is still a market for 16 gig devices...

I have a tablet for movies and that. Plus if you have a ton of music you don't listen to half of it so whats the point of having it just take up space? Apple seems to make a killing with 16gb phones so yeah there is still a market.

16gb would be a deal breaker for me. I fill my 32gb 3GS with music and play it at the office all day on shuffle. I'm not paying $300 and switching carriers to move backwards on an important part of my life. As it is, I'll have to get a new docking player of some sort if I get a GNex.

I've finally come around to deciding that 16gb wouldn't quite be a deal-breaker for me, with all the other advantages of the phone (coming from a 32gb 3GS) and with UBS OTG hopefully available to partially offset the lack of onboard storage/microSD slot.

That said, I'm still really hoping it's the 32gb version. Hell, I've been hoping for 64gb (or 32 + microSD) device for years, but it seems that phone manufacturers are still determined to cripple this generation of devices. It's kind of sad that Apple's leading the pack on onboard storage... but that's still not enough to get me to buy into their crap again.
