can Galaxy Nexus make Skype voice or video calls via Wi-Fi?

There is no Verizon signal(CDMA, 1X, 3G, 4G, nothing at all) in my office building. I don't blame VZW
because this is a rural area. However, we do have Wi-Fi. However, I have never been able to use
my Droid Charge to make Skype calls using Wi-Fi. Since I'm planning to upgrade to the Nexus,
I'd like to know if this is still the case.

I believe Skype actually updated to allow this.

My Droid Charge has the most recent Gingerbread update... all apps, including Skyp are up to date...
but still won't allow me to make Skype calls unless I switch 3G on.

It'll be so cool if the Galaxy Nexus allows it. Guess I'll find out when my Nexus arrives.

i just made a video call via wifi 30 minutes ago. Looked great!
