    Galaxy Nexus battery life is a software issue, not hardware. Should be fixable. : Android

    Taken from Reddit and I didn't see this posted anywhere on here. Seems that ICS is keeping the CPU from going in to Deep Sleep.

    Take a look at the link here and also the screen shots.

    It should be fixed with an update.

    And that is why I waited for a Nexus to move back to Android. The devs, community and Samsung/Google are on top of things with this phone. So much support.

    I think the battery life is great at least compared the my incredible. I made it though the work day with moderate use and still had 47%. Normally id be at 20% or less.

    Yeah the battery life isn't bad at all. Yesterday I managed 16 hours and still had 30% left.

    Compared to my "fail" Fascinate, the Nexus has incredible battery life. But if a software update will make it even better, then I'm all for that.
