i just got the verizon galaxy nexus on 12/16. applied update so i'm running 4.02. it has NOT been rooted. and i've been getting the following error since the first day i took the phone home - see attached screenshot:
this happens about 3 times a day. sometimes it will recognize the SIM card when the phone reboots - sometimes i have to physically remove the SIM card and pop it back in for it to be recognized.
my initial thought was that this is a hardware issue and should look into getting it replaced. however, a verizon rep i spoke with today said that they have been getting calls about this error message on other 4g phones (he specifically mentioned the droid razr) and assured me that this could be fixed with an upcoming software update.
is anyone else having this problem? should i be looking at getting a replacement?
