Searching for things related to this phone is just confusing at times. I wish people would just call it the google nexus phone to avoid confusion but that will never happen.

Searching for cases has been a nightmare.

If a case is marked Samsung galaxy nexus then its what you want. Only have to worry about is it the Verizon one or not. If they did call it the Google nexus you would have all other Google nexus phones show up as this is not the first nor the last. The s is a different phone. The lte or 4g shows its the Verizon model.

unfortunetely, Im not confused, ITS THE RETAILERS that are confused. Constantly noticed mislabled products last night.

I always had to pause and think about which phone they were referring to.

Got ya. You left out the nexus prime when I do a search on say Amazon for stuff for the phone it does pull up other phones but the products I see are for the others phones. Check out the android central store. We have them listed by phone.

This seems like a common problem I run into with a lot of stuff.

I had a friend give me an iPhone 4 case. Problem was the GSM and cdma models are slightly different. Then trying to buy a case is tough because retailers on amazon will label cases 4 and 4s but that only works if the 4 was cdma as all the 4s's are the same....

Its a headache with guns that are somewhat modular like a block with retailers not labeling the generation of a certain model...

I agree with the comment the retailers need to learn what they are selling and label stuff appropriately.
