App Compatibility

I have been on this forum daily since the release of the Gnex and haven't seen this topic come up, but I can't imagine i'm the only one having this issue.

I am stock with the exception of nova launcher, no root or unlocked boot loader. I have a number of apps which won't display when I try to load. In some cases the apps worked previously on my gnex, but then stopped. This may be following an app update, but not positive about that. In every case the screen looks the same.

I have included a screen capture. I haven't been able to fix with a force stop or even a battery pull helps. I am probably up to at least ten apps that do this same thing.

yeah i had that happen with tech buzz....i imagine its because thise apps are not really ics compatible

I think your device might be the cause. All of them are compatible with 4.0, and the few I tested ran fine on my Nexus.

Would having "force GPU acceleration" on or off make a difference perhaps?

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner. Turned off the forced gpu acceleration and they worked great. Thanks much.
