Can't make market purchases

Went in to get the Free Song of the Day, got an error after I hit the free button.
Tried to purchase a few apps, same thing, 'An error occurred. Please try again.'
I also can't use Google Wallet, says it's unavailable, I am wondering if they're all linked.

Running Codename Android 1.0.0
Android 4.0.3

I scoured through a few pages of the forum here and in the romming threads and haven't seen anything else like this (except for G Wallet). Thoughts? Answers?

The common thread is your credit card. Could it be something going on there? Does the free song of the day need a valid, working credit card?

Google Wallet is using the prepaid card which is different than the card used for market purchases. Beyond that my CC is good and, yes, the song of the day does come up as a zero dollar purchase.
