Verizon is sending me a replacement phone and I have 1,000 photo's and many songs on my current nexus hard drive that I want to have on the new phone. What is the best way to go about this?

One thing I just did was take my photo album and upload it to Google drive. Everything seems to be going smoothly so far but I'm not sure if I can then just take those files from Google drive and put them on the new phone? I also am unsure on the Mp3s.

The USB port on my phone doesn't work so I can't just plug it into a PC. Is there a seamless way to transfer my photo's and music?

I backup photos with dropbox, syncs them to the cloud and I can store them that way. For music, if you use google music that will sync when you sign into the replacement phone, just reselect the songs you want to store on the phone itself within the google music app.

I'm going through the same thing right now, with another replacement device arriving tomorrow
