For me, believe it or not, it was my GNex because my drivers didn't want to accept Samsung. I actually had to enlist the help of A/C members.
A close 2nd was my Rezound. Difficult procedure but the computer cooperated.

I've only had 3 android phones, it was easy to root them all.

I rooted my Droid 2 using the command line on the phone itself.
By the time I got my Droid X z4root was out.
I rooted my Nexus the day I brought it home, only took a few minutes.

For me it was the G1. Back in 2008 I was a major newbie. Thought I bricked it but I didn't. T-Mo sent me a new one anyway. It was the worst for me cause I didn't know any better.

Wow, the Rezound wasn't really that hard was it guys? PITA maybe but hard? The Boost mobile Samsung Galaxy Prevail was a real pain as well.

I'm gonna say thunderbolt back when it first came out. That was one of the most stressful things I've ever done
same here....thankfully when i did it there was a "one click" method...but it still downgraded, pushed SU, upgraded and some other wizardrii was tossed in there as well.

Original Droid, and Droid X were both true One Click methods, and the Nexus was a breeze.

Sanyo/Cricket Zio.

Took ~5 hours to figure out how to unbrick it (not my fault!), another 2 hours to make it workable, and another hour to set it up after that.
