Received Official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OTA this morning

The GSF force data to close and clear data is definitely making a difference. I have been impatiently clicking the update button since the first announcement was made and no dice, hitting the update button in Settings/about phone gave me no results (always showed updated)

I did follow steps as recommended by others:

- Cleared all recent apps
- Airplane mode
- GSF force close and clear data
- WiFi on
- Go settings/about phone and hit update button.
- Downloading update as I type

I love this forum. Reverted back to stock on Friday and none of the tricks worked to activate the update until now. Decided to look on the forum tonight to see if there was another method and 3 minutes later here comes my update. Thanks again.

I'm still waiting on mine, here in Ohio. Out of curiosity, when Google released JB to the GSM GNex, did it roll out slowly like this? For some reason I thought it pushed out to everyone, am I wrong about that?

Woke up to the update notification this morning, JB is installed and everything appears to be working OK. My Gnex is stock and wi-fi was enabled. Spent the last two days mashing the hell out of the update button with no luck. I did not attempt any of the "tricks" for this upgrade.

The wife's stock un-rooted phone got the update this morning, wi-fi was on but used none of the tricks. Woke up and it was there!

Just woke up to my update also. Didn't even expect it anytime soon.

I wonder if these updates roll out based on when you bought/activated your phone? I got my phone the day it was released and both updates I got as soon as they stated rolling out. I never did any fancy tricks to get them. In fact for the ICS 4.0.4 update I was not even in the country and only on wifi when I got it.

The update was pushed to my phone over night. I installed it this morning. I am familiar with Jellybean because my tablet is running it so kinda knew what to expect.
The update has made the phone and my current apps perform with smooth blazing speed.

Only one problem with this...... lose foxfi WiFi use lol. My update showed up today as well.
