Accessing camera Zoom in 4.2.2

Just got 4.2.2 and when I tried to use the camera I couldn't find any way to zoom in on subject. What am I missing?

Yep, that got me for a bit, too (especially when I was shooting a video the other day).

You have to use two-finger pinch-in / pinch-out to zoom-in and zoom-out now. I think I preferred the single finger slide, but oh well.

I don't like it either. They should at least give the user the option of using either depending on personal preference.

I like the old camera app a lot better! Everything from zooming to editing the picture. Was a lot easier before.

One thing good the new landscape wide angle lens feature rocks. Sliding to camera without unlocking is good (not sure when it happened tho)

That's dumb making you pinch to zoom The old way was a lot better.

Meh. I actually like the pinch-to-zoom better. To each there own obviously.
