    I want to be able to run Cyanogenmod, but I'm not sure if it's possible after the update to 4.4.2. I have not rooted this phone prior.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Looks like there is a root method now for 4.4.2 (see link below), but the bootloader remains locked down, so no custom recovery option or ability to flash custom ROMs such as CM.

    Thanks!!! I'm trying to prolong the life of this phone. I'm sure it's not going to get updated to Android L.

    I read somewhere, I wish I could remember, that this is go I no to be updated to lollipop. Who knows though.
