For what it's worth - here's my timeline when I pre-ordered my wife's iPhone 5:


Pre-order page says it will "Ship by Oct. 19th"

My bank account charged on Tuesday Oct 16th at 5am

Picked up by Fedex OCt 16th at 5pm in Memphis

Arrives at sort facility in Ontario, CA on Wednesday Oct 17th at 5:30pm

On truck for delivery on Thursday Oct 18th and delivered at 2:30 pm.




Granted, this was a different phone, etc. but I did everything exactly the same with my pre-order. So, if my Note 2 pre-order follows this schedule, I should get charged early tomorrow morning.

We shall see!!

Just checked my account, nothing has been billed to me yet. From what I was told, the card wouldn't be billed until I turned the phone on. Has anyone else been told the same?

May I ask what part of the country you are in? I am wondering if we can figure out if some regions are getting a head start or if it is a nation wide thing.
