Anyone disappointed that we don't have the black background option in the email program?

I really like the black background option in stock email programs like the Motorola devices and noticed that the international versions of the Note II have it but not the Verizon version. Anyone know why? What do we have to do to get Samsung to put it in the next update? The current grey background is horrible and very difficult to read. I hate it!
