How do I get mail to push?

I have to go into mail and the button to get mail? It doesn't show up automatically??

You need to setup auto sync for your email account.
Which app you using? Look in setting>data for auto sync. Turning auto sync consume more battery.

There are a couple ways to do it.

Option 1

1. System Settings
2. Under Accounts, choose Google.
3. Choose your Gmail account.
4. Check the boxes you want to sync.

If you've done that & it still doesn't sync. Do the following.

Option 2

1. Open Google+
2. Hit the menu button and select settings.
3. Scroll down to photos & videos and select instant upload.
4. Make sure the "Auto sync app data" box is checked.

I unchecked this setting once, thinking it only affected G+. Apparently it affects all apps.
