note 2 world phone?

I am traveling this saturday to europe. I was told the note 2 2 is world capable. Is that the case?
Do I need to change anything?

I remember last year using my razor and i didnt need to change anything.

Yes it will work fine without changing anything. It always worked with Verizon SIM roaming globally but that is expensive. If you prefer to use a local country SIM that will work also, see this thread for more info.

If on Verizon, beware the rates can be very expensive. It can exceed $20,000 per gb of data.

Note 2 2 ????? We're only at Note 2.... assuming Samsung releases a new Note every single year...
