I just noticed that Google now does not show my location did they stop adding that. I have 3 browsers on my phone and they all are missing the location. Any ideas?

Make sure that "Loaction Services" is active. Also, make sure that you have set the permissions for Google Now (under settings) to allow it to use your location.

I once had a similar issue but restarting the phone fixed it... I did try something else and it fixed it, too... Try disabling Google Now (Google Search settings, there should be a switch there). Then restart.

Can Maps get a lock on your location? With and/or without GPS?

Umm... where exactly? hahaha it's been aaaages since I've accessed Google.com in my phone :S I just use the Google Search app (or Google Now).

If Maps can see your location then maybe it's a permission or privacy setting in your browser that's preventing any site from accessing your location. I do remember that when a site wants to know where you are, a security pop-up asks you if you want to allow the site to do so. Maybe this permission got revoked?
