Verizon Note 2: Headphones suddenly won't work?

So I just went to listen to some music on my note 2 and the headphones I've always used won't work. Tried my wife's and hers wont work either? I tried cleaning it out and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

Maybe there's some debris in the jack. Use a damp toothpick to root around, or a can of compressed air to blow it out.
