Need root help in NJ

I have been trying since I got this darn phone (Verizon Galaxy S3) in the FedEx box to root it and no matter what I do it won't work.

I rooted my last phone, the Droid Charge, without any problems, but apparently I'm Galaxy-deficient.

If someone out there is close to me, in the Hunterdon/Warren County area, and willing to help me, I'll pay.

Follow the instructions on that thread. Really it doesn't get much easier than that. I did it, took me 7-8 minutes and voila, I had root.
