Dial up speed download

So lately, as in the past few months anytime I attempt to download a ROM from androidfilehost it literally takes 6 hrs to make it to 90 percent. Than it says unsuccessful before it even finishes. I'm using the Chrome browser and I have good to great wifi speeds. Any ideas?

Turn your anti virus off while you are downloading. You can turn it on to check file when its downloaded. Surfing internet while the AV is off is bad idea.
