Can Xposed modules work on 4.4.2 if I reboot?

I have a rooted SCH-I535 and I'm on Kit Kat 4.4.2 . I was wondering if anyone knows if I install modules or anything using the Xposed installer will my phone soft brick when rebooted.

As long as the modules aren't messing with the bootloader I don't see why it would be a problem.
