Google+ Instant Uploading regardless of app setting?

So I'm not sure I like the idea of G+ Instant upload. When I want to upload photos to a service, I can manage that just fine on my own, but even with Instant Upload function turned off on my G+ app, I got a notification this morning that two pictures were added to my 'Instant Upload' album.

They were taken this morning, so I know the function was already disabled, but I am unable to find a setting in the gallery app or under account sync that is doing this....


....anyone find another location about Instant Upload that keeps this function running?

I'd say try turning the option on, reboot the phone and then turn it off and reboot again.

Maybe the setting is just confused.

I noticed this as well - go into settings/accounts and sync/click on all of your Google accounts and make sure Sync Instant Upload is not checked. This worked for me.
