Did I Get Too Little?

Ok, long story short, I sold my 32 GB Galaxy S3 on Ebay so I could afford to buy that rumored HTC phone on Verizon when it comes out. I assumed I would get at least $500, but it turned out it only went to $450. I feel jipped. :/ Did I get too little for my phone? Has anybody sold a GS3 and if so, what did you get? I feel very disappointed.

No clue but personally I would never sell a great phone based on a rumor. How much did you pay for the S3?

I've been looking on Craigslist in my area and I must say you did great. They are are going for around 350 here.

I believe it was a little less than $300 after the activation fee and all the stupid fees that verizon charged. I needed a phone when I got it because my droid x2 was just a disaster. I just could not wait however long it would have been for a good htc device or an iphone, so I went with the GS3. I just was never truly in love. I just assumed that a 32 GB GS3 would net me more than $450. :/ Oh well.

Really? Is it because of all the iphone hype? I just thought a 32 GB model would net more than what I got. :/ So I should consider myself lucky? Sorry about this, I just know that many people on here switch phones all the time, so it would be the best place to ask. Thank you.

EDIT: Actually, auction just ended and I got $485 after it being $450 in the last minute. Now is that a good price? Thank you.

Ya that's a good price. Only thing I see is the S3 has been out for a few months. Seems to be the trend with most phones.

Most electronics depreciate very quickly. You can't expect anywhere near retail for a used product, I think you did pretty good.

Seems like a good price out here, too. The next best thing can come out, and I'll still be happy with the S3. When I get bored, I'll root it and start flashing ROM's.
