So I flashed my phone recently with CryogenMod 10.1, updating to Android 4.2, and to my great dismay I found I had lost almost all of my contacts. The only ones it saved (interestingly enough) were contacts I had added while using my new Galaxy S3 -- the ones I had gathered on my old phone (and imported to the new over Bluetooth) seem to be erased.

I would resign to having lost them; however, I realized that, during the process, the only things I seemed to have lost were my apps (not my concern at the moment) and these contacts. My audio files, video and picture files, etc., have all been saved. So I'm wondering if my old contacts are just hidden somewhere. Does anyone have any idea where the Galaxy stores its contacts?

    Thank you
