s3 and the palm touchstone/Qi

I just bought a s3. I am a palm pre owner( yes I still have one) with many touchstones. I see amazon has a back cover for 30 and it has mixed reviews of success. I see verizon makes one for Qi. I also see ebay has some with touchstones or just the insert.

So my questions are as such.
How difficult is it to gut my palm back cover and mod it to my s3 backcover?
can the verizon back cover work with the touchstone?
how well made are any of the other options? or better yet which ones are worth the 20 or 30?

The Palm is a smaller phone than the S3, it will not fit.
Palm Dimensions 100.5 x 59.5 x 16.9 mm (3.96 x 2.34 x 0.67 in)
S3 Dimensions 136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6 mm (5.38 x 2.78 x 0.34 in)

I thought I just saw a writeup within the last couple of weeks on Android Central that explained how to do this - you may want to just do a search on the regular website.

i know it wont fit directly, but the coil can be removed and modded and then put on the s3.

I bought one of the $20 eBay backs with the Palm charger built into it. The fit was a bit snug and there is a small bump on the back once the back is installed but the Touchstone works like a dream. The phone does not sit as securely as the Palm Pre, but all in all, I'm very pleased.
