I was attempting to put my phone back to stock firmware using Odin and the root66 file. The process worked, but upon reboot it would never make it past the 4G LTE screen. I have tried to remove the battery, Sim card - nothing works. It won't reboot into Recovery or Odin mode. It will just briefly vibrate, get to the Samsung screen, and then get stuck in the loop all over again.

The worst part is that this phone was literally replaced today. It may just be the battery...

I was following section 5 of this guide: [GUIDE][VZW Edition]How to root your Galaxy SIII & More!(ROMs/CWM/Stock) - xda-developers

I appreciate any input, as I'm at my wit's end with this whole thing.

Take a look at this and see if it won't help "How to Recover When your Android Device is Caught in a Bootloop"

DroidViews | How to Recover When your Android Device is Caught in a Bootloop

also I just returned my phone to MD1 a few days ago using this

DroidViews | How to Install Android 4.1.1/4.1.2 Jelly Bean Stock Firmware on Galaxy S3

Then rooted for the 1st time with this guide

DroidViews | Root and Install CWM Recovery on Verizon Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 Android 4.1.1/4.1.2

no problems with any of it.
