S3 without 3G pls help!

Hi there, well im new in this forum and i hope any kind of help...

well first i live in Mexico and recently i bought a
Verizon S3 i535 Android 4.1.2, band base VRBMF1, rooted, Apn telcel

i use an unlocked microsim for TELCEL Mexico but i cant connect to 3G network, is working with 850/1200, someone told me changing the baseband possibly works.
but first i need to know if this will works or i will need to buy another phone, any idea how to fix it?, if needs more info about the phone pls tell me.

Welcome to the forums.
I am not sure you can force the Verizon phone to work. There are 2 types of 3G bands. GSM and CDMA. CDMA can't work on GSM. If your carrier is a CDMA type, now the frequency comes into question.
You can try contacting your carrier and asking if they can support a Verizon phone. If they say no, then I would get a different one.

Is a GSM sim, and the phone obviously was a cdma, but i will try asking to my carier, thanks!
