I'm going to Seville, Spain this summer for a week and I was wondering if I will have any global coverage there. Will I? I'm asking in case I decide to pay for the global support for that week, but I might just use the hotel's wifi.

Yes Verizon would work but I would suggest you buy a local sim, if you don't sign up for a plan, they will charge in excess of $20,000 per gb. They also offer international plan if desired.
