So for some reason my phone decided it would not be able to sense my touch, and I need to factory reset it to fix it. The thing is, I have TeamWin Recovery Project as my recovery mode (google it, you'll understand), and it needs me to touch the buttons to reset it. How do I factory reset my s3 without using the phone directly?

If you have USB debugging enabled, and no screen password, I'm pretty sure you can use ADB to perform a Factory Reset. I don't know the command offhand but you can look it up.

Otherwise you could use Odin to load the stock Recovery method and use that to perform the Factory Reset.

If your screen has gone unresponsive even in recovery you might have a defunct device. Your best bet would be to oden back to stock and probably contact verizon.
