    Not trying to be funny, but my S3 is working perfectly, and will do far more than I ask of it. I just don't see why I should be salivating over the next OS update.

    Allegedly, 4.4 runs more efficiently, so it should relieve any lagginess. In addition, it will allow Google Wallet to be used without special dispensation from the US carriers who are promoting a competing service. Finally, you'll be able to use the new a Google Camera app and Google's new dialer. Sure, they're not mind blowing changes, but nonetheless welcome, esp on an older phone that won't be getting too many more updates (if any).
