Are magnetic cases dangerous?

Has anyone had any issues with the S3 using cases with magnetic clasps. I've read some stuff on the net that says they are dangerous

Dangerous in what way? Like damaging the screen or something? Many cases have small weak magnets, mostly for the smartcover function that is available on many devices (i.e., turning the screen on or off automatically when opening or closing the cover). I've never experienced a problem with cases that have stronger magnets used to keep the cover closed. However, sometimes those magnets can interfere with the smartcover sensor itself, especially if you're folding the cover back, causing the screen to turn off (since it thinks the cover is closed).
