Play Store: No connection.

So I was trying a few things to get my GPS working correctly again. One of the things I read on XDA talked about clearing the cache/data of playstore & maps rebooting and redownloading. The issue is that now when I click on the playstore it just says "No Connection" when the phone is indeed connected to the internet.
Everything I have tried has gotten me no where. I fear a factory reset is in my future. Any suggestions? Phone is not rooted or anything.

The Google Play Store has been acting kind of squirrely for me the past few days so perhaps it's just that.

But if you cleared data for the Play Store then you could try deleting your Google account (from the phone) and add it back and see what happens.

removing and adding account didn't fix it. Ended up doing a factory restore and all is well.
