music and SD storage

with the 8gigs of internal memory and a 32gig sd card, what would be the best location to store music files? does the music app work best using the internal memory? I am not worried about running out of space, have not done so yet with my D1 as I do not download movies to my phone.

I've had no problems with external storage for music files.

I personally prefer to keep my music on my SD. If you hop ROMS whatever you have on the SD will be spared the data wipe. Also to me, apps run smoother when not stored on the SD card.
