Marketplace and available updates Issue

I will get my notification that there are apps to update, but when I go to the market place I do not see any apps that are waiting to be updated. Now some apps are set to auto update and some are not. With my DX and my GN, even for the auto update apps, I would have to go to the marketplace and chose "update all" and that would be it. Am I missing out on something or is there an issue with this phone and the updates?

I get that issue as well on my vivid. Usually I wait a few hours after it has showed me false updates and then they are there and I am able to update. I have tried clearing cache and logging in again from a computer but it keeps happening. Not sure what else to try.
