ICS Battery Life?

Don't know if this has been covered previously, but here goes. What has been the general consensus of battery life on the ICS leaks vice 2.3.4? I want to flash ICS, but don't know if battery life will suffer or improve and I can't afford for it to suffer. Any inputs are greatly appreciated.

I believe the general consensus is that battery life has improved with ICS although different users are reporting different amounts of improvement. I know it has gotten better for me.

One thing that surely helps the battery life is the ability to disable or "freeze" any app including the preinstalled bloatware. Freezing Verizon Backup Assistent and Sync Service is a good place to start.
